Linda and Terry in the sewing room ![]() ![]() |
I can hardly remember a time when I didn't sew. Taught by my mother, I began sewing at age 8. My dolls were my models back then. In those days, I never dreamed that sewing would become a hobby, then a business. (My husband Terry calls it a "hobby that got out of hand" -- but he loves it as much as I do.)
Applique is my specialty -- making fabric "pictures" on my garments is both a challenge and a joy. Mixing fabrics is another of my favorite things -- as in patchwork, stripwork and coordinating fabrics. I make all my own trims and bows -- and even dye my own buttons on the kitchen stove. My husband Terry makes many of our tote bags. We take great pride in our work and enjoy a faithful customer base. We appreciate our many customers; and are always happy to meet new ones. We don't have a factory, nor do we have any outside employees. Because Terry and I do all our own cutting and sewing, we can keep our prices very affordable. Our products are not only "Made in America" -- they're made here in our home studio in North Augusta, South Carolina, |
